Feeling very grateful this morning as we look back on our journey with good friend and client Brenden Smith. He pours everything he has into this sport and wants it as much (or more) than anyone. He has the willingness to do whatever it takes to get it- a real champion mindset.

What a weekend!!!🎇 @sasquatchproam was a success. We are so proud of each one of our people who competed. We feel such a spirit of gratitude for this journey, and what God has allowed us to do in this industry. This sport definitely has challenged us over the years as coaches, but God has been revealing to us that we are right where he has called us to be. In a sport that can be dark and selfish, I believe he has called us to be a light. To build unity and faith among our athletes. To be that support for our people, and show compassion. There are a lot of women that reach out with the heart to compete. Some get to stage and some don’t. Beatrix really really impressed me. It was a slow start with some weeks that felt like the needle would not move and some weeks where life just presented real challenges. But she never veered from her goal, ever. We were about 4 weeks out, and I told her that I wasn’t sure if she would be ready for stage and to push the date out. I couldn’t drop her food anymore or increase her cardio much more and feel comfortable with it. She said she was committed though, so we decided to keep going and see— and wow. She showed up in a way that really impressed me. The discipline that this sport takes is obvious. But let’s be honest, not everyone walks the journey with a good attitude and smile. Beatrix, not only did you push through with resilience, you ALWAYS had a good attitude. Times where I was critical and pushed you, you just kept showing up. You’re unwavering. Honored to coach you and am so proud of the package you brought to stage. You did it👏👏👏🫶🙏.

“I’ve gone back and forth on posting this because it feels really vulnerable and scary — but that’s exactly why I started this account.

I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. Growing up dancing, I never felt like I had a ‘dancer’s body,’ and that left me constantly questioning my worth.

For most of my life, I was hyper-focused on watching the number on the scale go down — like my value was tied to it. So starting my reverse and seeing those numbers go up was incredibly difficult. But I’m slowly learning that growth — mentally, physically, and emotionally — often requires getting uncomfortable. And sometimes that means letting go of the scale and trusting the process.

This transformation is about so much more than what’s visible. It’s about healing my relationship with food. It’s about building strength — not just in the gym, but within myself.

I did this for the girl on the left — the one who didn’t know this was possible. Who didn’t see a way out of the yo-yo dieting, or the constant self-criticism. I’m proud of her for never giving up. 🤍”
